Why choose SoftVoltAI Voice Agent?
Most chat plugins answer questions. This one sells. It asks one question at a time, recommends the services or products that fit, collects the details you choose in the order you choose, confirms them and books the job — then hands you a lead you can act on.

From install to your first lead, in five steps.

Install and open Voice Agent
Activate the plugin. The dashboard shows the setup steps, what is left to do, and a health check.

Connect an AI model
Choose a free model (OpenRouter, Groq or Gemini) or paste a key for DeepSeek, OpenAI or Claude, then press Test connection. On WordPress 7, you can use the AI you already connected under Settings → Connectors.

Teach it your business
Pick your kind of site and press Learn from my site. Check the services, prices and questions it found, add anything missing, and save.

Place the button
The floating button is on by default — drag it into place in the live preview. Or use the header menu, the block, the widget or the shortcode.

Visitors talk or type. Bookings and hand-offs are saved under Voice Agent → Leads and sent to you by email, Telegram or n8n.

Every screen below is the real plugin, set up for an example plumbing business. Follow the steps in order and the agent is live on your site by the end.

Install and activate the plugin
In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New, search for SoftVoltAI Voice Agent, press Install Now and then Activate. A Voice Agent item appears in the admin menu.

Open the Voice Agent dashboard
The dashboard shows whether the agent is live, what is left to set up, new leads, messages per day and a health check. Talk to your agent tries it right there, the way a visitor would.

Connect an AI model
On the AI model tab, pick a free provider (OpenRouter, Groq or Gemini) or a paid one (DeepSeek, OpenAI, Claude). Each has step-by-step instructions for getting a key. Paste the key and press Test connection. On WordPress 7 you can choose WordPress AI connection instead.

Teach it your business
On the Knowledge tab, choose your kind of site and press Learn from my site: it reads your pages, shop and booking plugin and fills in your services, prices and common questions. Check them, drag them into order, and save.

Choose how it talks and listens
On Chat & voice, set the greeting, the quick replies, the details it collects before booking, and the language it listens and speaks in.

Decide where leads go
On Alerts, turn on email (replies go straight to the visitor), Telegram through your own bot, or a webhook for n8n, Make or Zapier. Send a test to check each one.

Place the button
On Look & placement, drag the floating button into place in the live preview and pick its colours. You can also put it in your header menu, drop the Voice Agent Button block anywhere, or use the shortcode [softvoltai_voice_agent].

Visitors talk or type
On your site, visitors tap the button and ask by voice or text. The agent answers from your facts, recommends what fits, collects the details and books the job — or hands them to a person.

In a shop, it shows products
With WooCommerce, the agent searches your live products and shows them as cards with the price, stock and an Add to cart button. Customers pay at your normal checkout.

Every lead lands in WordPress
Voice Agent → Leads lists every booking and hand-off with its status. Filter by status, and export them to CSV when you need them elsewhere.

Open a lead and follow it up
Each lead keeps the visitor's details, what they wanted and the whole conversation. Set its status and add notes as you follow it up.

Optional: send leads on with n8n
The n8n tab has a ready-made workflow to import and a guide to hosting n8n for free, so leads can go on to Google Sheets, a CRM or WhatsApp.

01Is the plugin free?
Yes. The plugin is free and complete. You pay nothing unless you choose a paid AI provider, and then you pay that provider directly for what you use.
02Where do I download it?
From the WordPress.org plugin directory, for free. In your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins → Add New and search for SoftVoltAI Voice Agent, or download it from wordpress.org/plugins/softvoltai-voice-agent.
03How does it know what my site sells?
Choose your kind of site (a shop, a local service, an agency, a blog) and press Learn from my site. It reads your pages and your shop and proposes what the agent should know; you check it, change anything, and save. With WooCommerce it searches your live products during the chat, so new products and prices are used straight away.
04Does it take payments?
Not in the free plugin. In a shop it adds products to the cart and customers pay at your own checkout; for a service it saves a booking request and alerts you. Payments in the chat are planned for Pro.
05Which AI model should I choose?
To try it, start with a free one: Groq is very fast, which suits voice. For a business site, a low-cost paid model such as DeepSeek gives the most reliable bookings. You can switch at any time.
06Can it use the AI I connected in WordPress?
Yes, on WordPress 7.0 or later. Connect a provider under Settings → Connectors, then choose WordPress AI connection in the plugin. WordPress keeps the key; the plugin never sees it.
07Does voice cost anything?
No. Speech is handled by the visitor's browser, not by a paid speech service. Only the text of the conversation goes to your AI provider.
08Which browsers support voice?
Chrome, Edge and Safari, on computers and phones. Your site must use HTTPS for the microphone. In other browsers the text chat works as normal.
09Where are leads stored?
In your own WordPress database, under Voice Agent → Leads, with the conversation that led to them. You can set a status, add notes and export them as CSV.
10Does it work with Elementor and other page builders?
Yes. Add the shortcode [softvoltai_voice_agent] with the builder's shortcode element, or give any button the CSS class svava-open.
11Does it work with caching plugins?
Yes. The chat needs no nonce, so cached pages keep working. And if a security plugin turns off the REST API for visitors, the agent switches to admin-ajax on its own.
12Is there a Pro version?
Pro is being built as a separate add-on: WhatsApp and Messenger, natural voices, calendar booking, payments in the chat and tools for agencies. Everything in the free plugin stays free and keeps working without it.
